From July 17th, Binance will stop frequently used services such as deposits, trading and withdrawals. Sending crypto from your Binance account to your Bitvavo account is easy and can be arranged quite quickly. It is important that you have a Bitvavo account. If you do not have one yet, create one immediately. Nice advantage: if you create an account with Bitvavo now, you will not pay any transaction costs on the first 1000 euros.

Step 1: Create a Bitvavo account

To create a Bitvavo account, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Bitvavo website: https://account.bitvavo.com/create.
  2. Click on the “Create Account” button or similar option.
  3. Fill out the registration form with the requested information, such as your name, email address, and password.
  4. Accept the Bitvavo Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  5. Complete any additional verification steps, such as verifying your email address.
  6. After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Bitvavo.
  7. Log in to your new Bitvavo account with your registered email address and password.

Step 2: Send crypto from Binance to Bitvavo

To send crypto from Binance to Bitvavo, follow the steps below:

Via the Bitvavo website:

  1. Log into your Bitvavo account on the Bitvavo website.
  2. Navigate to the digital currency you want to send and click on it.
  3. Click on ‘Deposit’ and select the network you want to deposit to.
  4. Your Bitvavo wallet address will now be displayed. Copy this address.
  5. Go to your Binance account and find the option to withdraw cryptocurrency.
  6. Choose the relevant cryptocurrency and paste the Bitvavo deposit address.
  7. Select the correct network (very important!) and confirm the transaction.

Via the Bitvavo app:

  1. Log in to the Bitvavo app.
  2. Tap on the digital currency you want to deposit.
  3. Tap on the menu with three dots at the top right of the screen.
  4. Tap on ‘Deposit’.
  5. The address of your Bitvavo wallet is displayed. Use this address to send your crypto to.


Note: Make sure you copy and paste the correct address to avoid mistakes. Also check the networks and any additional requirements for specific digital currencies, such as adding a tag/memo.

After sending your crypto, it will normally be added to your Bitvavo account within a few minutes to a few hours. The time depends on the speed at which the network confirms your transaction and the number of confirmations Bitvavo requires, which can differ per digital currency.
